Life's been pretty good. My headaches are back but I had a feeling about that...kinda dunno. They come and they go really but a lot of the times lately I think I've been going to bed later, whether it be consiously or subconsiously, because I'm afraid how I'll feel in the morning.

But that's the bad news.

Good news is I've been great really, I've been exceedingly busy with weddings; one of which was on halloween and I was a bridesmaid for that and it was so incredibly fun, working out, preparing for grad. school in Oz, and hanging out with people when I can. Then I've been watching Bones lately. Good lord I'm loving that show. I started like.....I dunno about 2 months ago and I'm gonna be getting disc 1 of season 4 in the mail this weekend. UNF YES I'M SO EXCITED.

I watched Bleach Fade to Black and while it did in many ways fill my gap in fangirlish needs for Bleach as of late I couldn't help but think how gorgeous some of the character designs are, especially cuz this is bleach we're takling about. I know its the movies but they just seemed to be a lot more detailed like even when it was like in between shots they seemed to do a good job. At first it kinda seemed wierd the varying qualities but I got used to it after awhile. Also, I thoroughly enjoyed that this scene was redone as you can see : here, there, tres and this cuz it's a good shot of Rukia lol. But yes it very much made me happy and I thought some of that scythe choreography at the end was really impressive btw.

And fucking jezumz crow i'ts 1 a.m. I need to go sleeeeeeeeeep.

P.S. this weeks episode of Bones gave me the epiphany that I think Wendall is EXCEEDINGLY attractive. Unf? I think so my friends, I think so.

Some words....you just can't say no matter how you want to. And sometimes you need to be reminded of the fact that you do have a lucky life...everyone. Everyone is blessed.

I've been struggling with this concept for the past month or so, and it's been hard. Cuz the one thing that I was proud of has been turning against me.

I'm STILL struggling but I know certaint hings now and they are enough to give me comfort to find out the answers that I seek. Now it's just getting back on to the path and essentially killing two birds with one stone both my present wants and the wants that reflect what needs to be done by Febraury.

I'm back on track, to what I need to do before February.

I will make things right, I will tell him that. I will make the best of the time I have left. I will do what I need to do and see what I neede to see.

And in the end

Everything will fall into place.

SO HIYA FL WASSUP

I'm aware that I have several lovely iconers as friends on here so rather than IM each one of you individuall I figured I'd just broadcast it here and see what I get for results.

I need someone to make me a FUCKTON of manga colored icons. Most are for RP purposes but I wanna use some also for personal use as well. Due to the fact that I'm hoping for quite a lot and that I kinda want them soon i'm more then willing to pay from $20-$50 (in fact I insist that I pay you lol, starting price is 20 easily) and it'll range depending on how quickly it's done and if I like it maybe you could do more and get more money or something like that? Idk. I just figured most of my FL is strapped for cash and I can't seem to find the stuff I want and I DO want it right away.

Okay so fucking zomfg ninja fast update while my poptart fixes before I dash off to work.

Some of you already know this but my computer is being super merga ultra gay and keyboard hasn't been working. Because of this I took RP hiatuses everywhere becaues...well...I couldn't TYPE. At first it was hiatus for personal reasons, but then, well, I just HAD to cuz woah wow fucked up. So I go to fix it the other day and they tell me that the fourth fix geek squad fixation replaces your laptop and if it wasn't for my mom strolling by as soon as I finish the agreement saying that it's okay that they overwrite my data that I realize that because I DID get my motherboard replaced that yes, this is the 4th time. I mentally facepalmed because my external doesn't seem to be working so now I have to get THAT fixed before I can get my computer fixed. So that's another THREE WEEKS (one for getting the external fixed cuz I'm gonna have my buddy ryan fix it, and two for teh computer)

WARNING MAJOR UPDATE: AUSSIE AUSSIE OI OI

I feel all and all that a HUMONGOUS update has been in order too much to update about frankly. And the reason I haven't updated sooner was because I've been both too busy to do so and, more importnatly, that I have too much to talk about that I didn't want to spam your FL because it is in fact all important stuff. Plus my keyboard hasn't been working so even when I've been on AIM I haven't talked to people really because it's hard because my g, h, backspace, and apostrophe's don't work; in addition sometimes my o,u,e,r, and numbers don't work either as well as my arrows. So yah...no point in messaging or even RPing, considering I'm taking a non-official break from that too.

But yes for the matter at hand.

Last week i found out.......

I GOT MOTHER EFFING INTO GRAD SCHOOL IN MOTHER EFFIN SYDNEY, GUYS. THAT MEANS THAT I'M GOING TO AUSTRALIA THIS TIME NEXT FEBRUARY/MARCH WOOOOOO HOoOOOOOOooO. For those that don't know, but most of you do, it is been a lifetime dream of mine to go to Australia. Ever since the olympics back in 2000 I was FASCINATED with the country and the people and since then it's been an obsession that has grown on with time the more I learn about it. When I found out about study abroad in high school I KNEW that's where I wanted to go and was so crushed when I found out that I didn't have the time nor the proper GPA to do such, and I thought I would NEVER get to go.

Then low and behold, an oppurtunity arose. In my junior year and into my senior year I really began to get interested in International Relations and that would eventually become apart of my concentration in school rather than just history. What at first was a llove of anime developed into a love of Japanese culture and lifestyle and somehow my interest in history of US foreign policy and relations as well as my interest in Japan somehow converged in my Senior year and I loved studying governments and policies particularly those in asia. And while I did almost flunk out of the course, that SE Asia Economics and Politics course was one of the most intriguing courses I've ever taken and I really wish to learn more about the region in grad school. SO YAH, BASICALLY I WAS LIKE OH MAN PERFECT WINDOW FOR ME. Cuz IR majors, it's almost a prereq for anybody and everybody that they have to spen sometime abroad, so I figured why not grad school and thus I've been applying and what not.

Then last week I'm at work and it's the first thing in the morning and I got an email from i.e. University of New South Wales and it stated that they had made a decision on my application. I knew I had good enough GPA and good enough to get in but still didn't change the fact I was nervous as fuck. I downloaded the attach doc and sure enough first thing I saw was LETTER OF OFFER right near my name and it proceed to say the whole shpeel. I seriously must have read like letter of offer like 5 times before I continued.

And I didn't squeal or curse or anything when I read it.

I just stared......and stared......

And before I knew it? I was crying, not heavily, but crying to the point where I was at the point where it might potentially be noticeable because I was sniffling.

I mean FUCK I never cry, only when I'm upset. I don't think I cried when I got into BU or...when I did...maybe I did when I got into Fenwick, but I don't know man. It took a LOT to do that to me.

Because fuck how else are you suppose to react when you finally realize that your lifelong goal, something that you've always wanted but could never have is coming true. That your just too happy, too beside yourself that it's ACTUALLY happening that your beyond pure ecstasy. After telling my manager Glenn that I stepped out for a few minutes, I called my mom and she was worried cuz I sounded genuinely upset, like I had just been crying, and I was ilke PFFFFFFFF NO MOM GET OUT I GOT INTO SCHOOL I'M FINE LOL. And I called a bunch of other people and texted them and just yah...crazy day, and everyone at work congratulated me and it was just....awesome.

Hell, wow, just talking about all that, about what it felt like is making me teary eyed. I just...I can't believe it fuck man. I've wanted this for so long it REALLY doesn't seem like it's real. That tomorrow I'm going to wake up and realize that HAHA IT'S ALL A DREAM, KEEP DREAMING YOU! But no...it's not. I'm going.

It actually kinda made me laughed but I prayed on the toilet after I told everybody and I cried some more. Just...basking in how lucky I am, how God made it so perfect for me and just made everything okay for me in the end that I can't HELP but be grateful for him for it.

It's just....wow, I still can't believe it. But yeah, it's really happening, and because of it a lot of things are gonna happen and I'm making a lot of changes in me and towards others, SO WATCH OUT LOL.

Oh...yah...I have a new job too, I've been meaning to talk about that, but considering that this was pretty major I figured I'd leave one thing at a time for now.

But yah, just sayin'? Thank you, all of you, for being awesome, for supporting me, and just being you and making me realizing that my life is truly 100% blessed.

FUCK. I've always had a week spot for activity themed school anime particularly musical with Nodame Cantabile. But THIS, oh my GAWD FUCK IT'S LIKE LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT. The music is gorgeous and the plot I'm already hooked to. PLUS THE "HAREM' GUYS Ryou is fucking awesome and GAH AMAZINGand FUCK I'M IN LOVE WITH KAZUUKKKI HIHARA. He's so fucking adorkable I SWEAR. He reminds me of like Idfk the combination of Sora from KH and uuuh fuck ~~what's his name from~~ Kuukai from Shugo Chara. Also I ALREADY SHIP A PAIR LIKE BUUUUUUURNING. So I was procrastinating doing my paper when I stumbled upon this video from last week's supernatural episode.

Studying for finals is seriously owning my ass. I'm worrying for the first time this semester because I'm not all that confident I'll do well since I skipped so many classes due to my poor health in November and December. I really hope I'll be ok and I'm sure I will...doesn't help that I'm worrying like crazy.

I know this has been online before, but I haven't seen it in good quality, and I didn't nearly hear all the words. And seeing the HD quality when dowloaded and not from youtube made me drool.

I saw snippets of the Wolverine's past part when it was in fact animated but I didn't see too much to know in terms of characters or story; like I might have seen like a minute or two. But I do vaguely remember the black haired chick/love interest and some of the other people on the team. All that I can say is I am QUITE excited. ~~Not to mention Hugh's hair looks HAAAWT in this movie lololol~~

Speaking of which, anybody know where in the show that was or where in the comic book it was? I figured where I have at least three comic book nerd friends that somebody would know.

Ok....so this was an observation I just had

New Engladn weather? or Boston Weather?

...is severely fucked up.

I'd never tihnk that one day I wake up and it's 16 degrees out with a windchill of making it at about 5, during the day.

To have the following day, start at about the 30's during the day, rise to the 40's, is NOW 53-4 AT 10 AT NIGHT. AND IT'S SUPPOSE TO BE 60 DEGREES TOMORROW! And to top it all off there's a chance it might snow on thursday.

But seriously....going from 16...to 60...in December.

Even for around here that's a little much.

I know I've lived here all my life...but even that's a new one for me. Normally it get's colder when it becomes night time, not the reverse.

Just...wierd.

So changed my default because as you know I must pay homage to what happened sunday morning. And end of an era really.

Code Geass ended.

Yes I am being overly dramatic but at the same time I'm not. Because normally I'd see an end to anime and brush it over and maybe mention it briefly in and LJ entry.

But I'm doing this for two reasons a.) Code Geass has been my IT fandom pretty much since the spring if not earlier. I've been so involved in it that I can't think of too many fandoms I'm as dedicated and hardcore about as it. And hell, I even finally managed to post fic about it and

Most importantly b.) The ending was beyond words..."perfect" "just right' "depressing but nice"...are all words that don't justify it. Not only was it well done, but it was actually what I wanted and should've happened

Since I know some of you have/haven't watched Code Geass nor do I know how many of you intend to, I will put it all behind a cut. And don't go snooping around into it if you get curious (I'M TALKING TO YOU SA!!) because you will ruin something really precious. But if you aren't really intending to see Geass any time soon, I do make some interesting points. And if you haven't/don't want to see it yet. Maybe my discussion will provoke interest, or at least discussion....Idk

GEASS FANS PLEASE REPLY TO THIS, I'd love to hear what you think of what I say. Despite this thing being so freaken long. I had a lot to say and I wanted to get it all of my chest while I still could.

So here we go my evaluation of the finale, why I loved it, the one problem I had with(in which I ACTUALLY BRING MY MAJOR INTO IT, WHY YES), little fangirl section, and conclusion.

Jeesh, it's like writing a freaking paper.

Alright so yes. I said it, it was perfection. Now that's something really bold coming from me, since while I do exaggerate I don't make such bold. But for Code Geass it was. While it was sad and depressing because Lelouch died and was killed by Suzaku's hands, it was just so...beautiful.

Alright so a little backround of how it was exaclty what I wanted for a CG ending. From the very beginning I pretty much knew, and it became my theory through most of R2, that Lelouch would die. I just...knew that either he would die when he achieved what he'd accomplished or he'd have to sacrifise himself for the cause. Ironically enough...it was both. Checkx2 I also started to get the feeling that Suzaku would be the one to do it especially after the whole Knight of Zero thing. Check Check. And despite all that he had done, the ones that really mattered to Lelouch in every way would just know that what he did was right. Check, Check, Check. DING DING DING. Well the finale scored on all of what I was expecting, so while it was unexpected but yet...not. Whiel I watched it I was like...wow I saw that coming, but I was still shocked by it if that makes any sense. I figured a lot of that would happen but seeing it carried out...made me sad and well....depressed. And every person I talked to will agree that the ending was depressing. Especially with Suzaku and ultimately Lelouch's sacrifise.

In the end, Lelouch sacrafised himself and the memories of others, so that he could be hated, in prospect for a happier future. As he said, he wasn't striving for the past (like his father, Charles) or the present (his brother, Schniezel), but the future. It's amazing what things you pick on when you rewatch something. Lelouch decided to act against Nunnally because he knew what she was trying to do, the same thing he was doing: have him be the burden of hatred to achieve peace. He didn't want Nunnally to suffer such sentiment so he did it on his own. In effect he did what was originally prohpesized by C.C. that, he obtained the right of kings, isolated himself in order to obtain ultimate power and ultimate wish: everlasting peace. I don't know when he realized this but it must've been at the beginning of R2 because he was making sure people were hating him and going against him from like...I don't know half way through R2, and I thought it was just him being a basket case, but he um..kinda jsut went with it. The fact that Lelouch can be such a martyr just...amazes.

And Suzaku :gush: Suzaku, wow...it truly was a fate fit for him, and I mean that. He's now the overseer of the world he's wanted Edit: AND he has obtained his wish of dying because in a sense Suzaku Kururugi is dead and is reborn as Zero. /end edit. Granted it was against his own wish to not take a life, but sometimes (as this ending in general indicates) you have to go against your wishes and ideals to achieve your supreme goal and that is what Zero Requiem is. The combine wishes for a new world and order at the sacrafise of two men dedicated to the cause with all their hearts.

Only problem: The practicaclity and reality of the Zero Requiem (yes I'm serious I'm evaluating it from my expertise, and yes I can do that because it's my freaking major so step off =PPPP

Now as an IR/History major, I do admit the whole plan is EXTREEEEEEEEEEMELY flawed like nobody's business. But hey, it worked, it worked in the anime. I'm not gonna question the reality of it. Hell it's Sunrise and it's Code Geass, it's not suppose to make sense. yes unification against a tyrant has done before, but that has only been a temporary fix. Since countries always have their own agendas and subsequently those lead to further world conflict i.e. World War II and the alliance between the Soviet Union and the U.S. which after the war was immediately proceeded by the Cold War, WHICH was a "war" that lasted for about oh say 30 years. They made everyting go full circle with Geass, and wishes, and futures, and just...everything. I just can't help but feel that everything returned back to the beginning but in a good way.

And while it was sad, I loved it. It was bittersweet, which is HOW I LOVE MY FUCKING ENDINGS. Because let's face it that's what life is like. We have to make sacrifices for ourself and others, so we and our loved ones can be happy. And that's exactlywhat Lelouch did. He sacrifised not only his life but his own self, dying a hated tyrant whose death would be the force of perserverence that would give reason for the nations around the world for wold peace.

And in the end, everyone's happy, everyone get's what they wanted. They basically live happily ever after. *INSERT HAPPY WEDDING PICTURE* Suzaku is now Zero but he has the role he's always wanted in being the keeper of the peace and making sure no more blood is shed. Nunnally knows why and what her brother did and loves him all the more for it. And...it's a happy ending but not quite. Cuz while the populous thinks that a "tyrant is dead" those close to Lelouch really know what happened, and I think that's how Lelouch wanted it. And in the end, that's what I think gave him closure. Because no matter what he would be remembered. (God now I have "Leave it out all the rest" stuck in my head"

And on a couple of side notes

while the part before the epilogue made me bawl my eyes out, having Kallen do the voice over at the end and seeing her with her momma and how she's well now simply made me cry tears of happiness
NO, I DO THINK LELOUCH IS DEAD. EDIT: AND FANDOM SERIOUSLY NEEDS TO STFU AND MOVE ON ALREADY. He's head, he's not coming back GET OVER YOUSERLF ALREADY, AND MOVE THE FUCK ON....ANYWAYS...../end edit I've always thought Lelouch would die, and I want it to stay that way. The only reason I would accept him being alive is that he's in the world of C like Jimizzle suggested.

But yes in conclusion, it was not only what I wanted for an ending for Code Geass but also what I wanted as ending for an anime in general. Bittersweet but real, and exactly what I expected for an ending for geass. I dont' think I've ever been so content to see an anime end as I have with this finale of Geass. And honestly, this will probably be in the record books for my favorite ending to an anime.

And if you haven't done so already, seriously....watch Code Geass. Season 1 rocks. Some of Season 2 is pretty good while parts are just...terrible but you want to keep. And as I said...well despite it being kinda depressing I thought the ending was completely...complete. Now as utopian and crazy and flawed as that may sound. I think that is brilliant.

Oh and on a side note WELCOME WELCOME TO astria and excels they both rock and are both really chilling people. HOORAY~~

And now...I seriously need to go back to doing my Japan history homework, even though I had to get all these thoughts out in order for me to do homework in the first place.

I'm at my house for the night (had to do talk to my stuff about summer plans as well as work on my resume) and I FINALLY GOT MY WIRELESS TO WORK!! WOOOHOOOO!! Thanks GOD! Jeez it's been such a pain in the ass lately. But I am online and updating YAY!

Spring Break without a doubt had it's extreme ups and downs, especially considering that I was INCREDIBLY sick for the first half of it, with a high fever, bad cough, and yuckiness. The great thing was that my parents allowed me to watch Trigun and Escaflowne on our gorgeous big screen TV. :drooool:

New York was absolutely positively fantobulouso. Like words can not describe how awesome it was. And Little Mermaid was totally beyond what words can say. I'll probably put up pictures sometime this week though I didn't get to take any outside the theater considering my camera died before I could do so ;___;. But yeah the set and everything about Little Mermaid was totally amazing. Just seeing all of the music performed live just made me so happy. And I was happy at how well they performed She's In Love, becuz it is without outa doubt my fav song in that show. I was so impressed that when it was Intermission I turned to my mom as soon as the lights went up and said "So is Act II gonna start soon?" and when we were leaving the theater I kept complaining about how I wanna see it again. Sierra Bogess WAS Ariel, it kinda scared me, and the way she was practically fan girling in "Beyond My Wildest Dream" made me lawl muchly. I seriously can't wait till I see it again, cuz I WILL see it again sometime soon. As god is my witness.

We also saw Spring Awakening which was totally awsome as well and once again my favorite song in the show "Totally fucked" (yes that's the name of the song), was probably the best number in the entire show, they just did such a good job. We did A LOT of walking around and we went to the Disney Store where I bought some pictures and some really nice earrings (I swear the Disney store has some really nice stuff, like I have a really nice pair of jeans that unless you look and see the Tinkerbelle on the butt you wouldn't even think they were made by Disney). Overall it was good times, and honestly I can't wait to go back, cuz we honestly didn't spend enough time there.

Yeah so AB is this weekend and I TOTALLY can't wait. Especially considering that I'm helping Alex and Kent in running a couple of fan panels. The one I'm definitely most excited for is Trescaflowgun, which is a compare and contrast between in my opinion two of the best anime out there Trigun and Escaflowne. It was funny cuz Alex told me that I needed to watch Trigun and Escaflowne before the panel and I was like "Oh that's suuuuch a chore" especially considering that I've wanted to see Trigun for the longest time and do you NEED to give me a reason to watch Escaflowne, hands down my favorite anime?!?! I mean honestly.

And I realized also while rewatching Escaflowne how much of a COMPLETE DORK I am, especially when it concerns a certain Van Fanel. I swear I have an unnatural crush on that boy, AND HE'S NOT EVEN REAL?!? I know I have for long a time, but at least now I'm admitting that I do. And when he goes all "whee I'm gonna be an angel and fly now" I kinda hardcore squee cuz he's shirtless ~~which is the only reason that the Escaflowne movie is good since that's what he is the entire movie~~. Yeah and I deliberately saved and got this icon not only cuz it's an awsome icon but when I was watching it the other night I actually stopped and drooled over this image on my tv screen for like a good few minutes. If you haven't seen Escaflowne already, go see it. I mean it. And don't be a tool in download it. I normally don't like to say that (cuz I know I'm guilty of downloading anime as much as the next guy), but this is an anime that deserved to be watched over and over again. You'll thank me when you've bought it and realized that you've gotten your money's worth.

Oh and let me tell you how much I could go on and on about trigun. Damn......man. That show's like two different anime. It's like a comedy-action kinda with a plot flow like bebop to then this totally serious drama that's both intriguing as well as impressive anime that just totally blew me out of the water. I mean this honestly, like no joke, was probably the most well done anime I've ever seen. DEFINITELY worth all the hype, imho.

Only bad part about AB is that I won't be able to cosplay because I don't have any of my stuff ready and I forgot to have Teresa send up my wigs. It's sad cuz this will be the first convention that I've gone too that I haven't cosplayed. ;___; But oh well, I'm just getting ready and pumped for my ultimate cosplay experience for Otakon, where I know I'll be doing at least two costumes: Nel w/ Espada Uniform (sorry I'm not wearing the rags she wears when she transforms) from "Bleach" and Lucy (w/her final costume, and I have wig and contacts for it too) from "Elfin Lied." So I guess it'll be all good in the end I guess.

Dammit I can't get .45 out of my DAMN HEAD!! Probably wasn't the best idea to suddenly listen to it on iTunes. I totally blame trigun and the amv that I've been watching constantly that is set to that song. Damn you Trigun, DAMN YOU!! If you are interested and don't mind spoiler amv's, comment and I'll send it to you.
Oh and thoughts on Katekyo Hitman Reborn anyone?? This is mostly directed toward Millie concerning that I know you read it and I'm interested by the ~~totally sexy~~ guy that's in your banner as well as some of the other characters, especially considering I have constantly bombarded with icons on LJ from that show and I know nothing about it.

Despite all the stress I've been going through lately I'm gettting more and more excited for Spring Break. Especially considering that yes, I'M SEEING LITTLE MERMAID ON BROADWAY!!! Yeah, you read that right, LITTLE MOTHER F-ING MERMAID. Being pumped, would be a huge understatement, especially since I'm going to see Spring Awakening in addition.

And just so you know I went and got the soundtrack today and let me just say IT'S SO FREAKIN' AMAAAAAAAAAAAAAZING, 'specially She's In Love. Dude I can NOT wait till spring break comes and I can go and see it. It shall be glorious. I was debating on waiting till Amber put it up on her LJ, but she's being retarded and apparently hasn't gotten yet (XP) so I just decided to get it for myself anyways XPPPPPPP

That's the logical explanation anyway. It sure isn't helping my incredibly bad mood right now. The fact that I was pretty thoroughly drenched from the knee down should be some indication of how bad it was out when I got out of rehearsal today. (thank god I had an umbrella)

Rehearsal was retarted today too. We did a cue to cue and dress rehearsal with only a half hour break plus around 40+ minutes for notes and got out at midnight. Seriously, WTF?!? Cue to cue was suppose to talk a "half hour" and ended up taking 2 and a half. THANKFULLY, the run through went smoothly. I know it's theater and it's better to do things right, but seriously. I already didn't even wanna be there to begin with, do you have to make things worse by making it painful?

Meanwhile, every second of free time I had at rehearsal I was doing homework, WHICH I still even remotely close to finishing and because of that, will probably pull an all nighter tonight (not good considering we're having another dress rehearsal tomorrow).

Speaking of school work, If you're told to read the Treaty of Versailles for class as well as read about 100+ pages from Keynes. DO NOT BE LIKE ME AND PROCRASTINATE!!! Turns out that the Treaty of Versailles if fucking loooooooooooong, 180 PAGES IN MICROSOFT WORD, to be exact. Plus it doesn't help that in addition to all that reading I have to write a 2 pg. paper on it. GREAAAAAAAAAAAAT...

Oh and guess what kids? Guess whose only done a fraction of said reading and hasn't started her paper, which she needs to get done by 3 p.m. tomorrow? >.> <.<

I seriously can't wait for this weekend to be over and done, cuz while I still have build for anything goes it won't be as hard core as actually being in the Tech Show.
